Cook Children’s Health Care System, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is a national award-winning, not-for-profit, integrated health care system comprised of seven companies.
Cook Children’s Health Care System operates more than 60 pediatric medical and specialty clinic offices throughout Texas. The system has more than 4,000 employees and serves a primary area of six North Texas counties – Tarrant, Johnson, Hood, Parker, Wise and Denton with an additional 126 county referral market, encompassing 47 percent of the state.

Children's Medical Center of Dallas
Children's Medical Center is private, not-for-profit, and is one of the largest pediatric healthcare providers in the nation. As the only academic healthcare facility in North Texas dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18, Children's provides patient care ranging from simple eye exams to specialized treatment in areas such as heart disease, hematology-oncology and cystic fibrosis. In addition, Children's is a major pediatric kidney, liver, intestine, heart and bone marrow transplant center. As the primary pediatric teaching facility for The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, the medical staff at Children's conducts research that is instrumental in developing treatments, therapies, and greater understanding of pediatric diseases.

The Children's Advocacy Center of Johnson County was formed to protect and serve the youngest and most helpless victims in our society, children. The Children's Advocacy Center works closely with law enforcement agencies and trained professional investigators within a "child friendly" environment to provide the services needed for these young victims and non-offending family members.

A nonprofit educational and advocacy organization based in Austin, TAASA member agencies comprise a statewide network of over 80 crisis centers that serve rural as well as metropolitan areas.

Sundance Behavioral Healthcare

Community Partners of Johnson County
Working with Family Protective Services to provide emergency resource needs for children, birth to age eighteen, as well as adults in our county that are victims of abuse or neglect. Also provides summer camp scholarships for children in the foster care system.

Operation Blessing of Johnson County
Meets the needs of people by providing food, clothing, prescriptions, financial assistance and other necessities of life. Provides counseling srvices on budgeting, anger management, chemical dependency and marriage counseling.

Salvation Army
Assists clients with food, utilities, rent, clothing, propane, prescriptions, transportation, furniture, disaster relief, snack programs, summer safety camp for children, school supplies, and seasonal assistance such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Valentine's Day.
